General Construction:  
In the commercial category, MHS Construction Associates, Inc. has successfully completed office buildings, shopping centers, financial institutions, theatres and multi-family dwellings, including shell, site work, and interior construction per plans and specifications. Reinforced concrete, masonry and tie beam, tilt wall, reinforced masonry, pre-cast / pre-stressed concrete, structural steel and wood are all structural systems that have been utilized. Recommendations will have filtered back through value engineering providing the best systems available. CPM schedules are included, updated during construction, and adhered to. Quality control of the finest materials and craftsmanship.

Design Build:   
A single source approach to planning, architectural design and construction services. With construction, engineering, and architecture working in partnership, the design / build process ensures effective communication while creating significant efficiency for the client. Time is saved through simultaneously executing design and construction, thus lowering costs to the client through early cost evaluation and continuous monitoring.

Complete plans which include all necessary drawings in accordance with codes and regulation sign and sealed by a licensed architect ready for submission to appropriate Building Departments. Plans will include site drawings, exterior elevations, structural details, interior layout, and engineer drawings.

Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Civil signed and sealed engineered drawings will be made a part of the overall plans ready for submittal to receive permits. Environmental and energy studies will be made on an as-needed basis. Value engineering is used throughout the ore-construction period. Components are recommended and compared for initial cost versus the life-cycle cost.

Interior Design:   
Designing environments that work, including conceptual planning, space planning of walls and outlets, furniture layout, presentation boards for colors and material specifications, and technical solutions.

Interior Construction:   
The company craftsmen and finish carpenters have undertaken the most difficult architectural designs with the finest hardwoods, marbles, and other special materials. The company also has the ability to of space planning and interior design. The Project Management team coordinates the project activities to maintain the critical path of construction. This ensures the timely completion of a high-quality, detailed interior finish at the competitive price.

Value Engineering:   
The concept of value engineering is used throughout the construction and pre-construction period. Types of construction components are compared for initial cost versus the life cycle cost. Mechanical components are recommended based on operating cost verses initial installation cost. As the objective consultant to the owner, MHS Construction Associates, Inc. uses its years of practical experience to evaluate the recommendations of the architects, engineers, land planner, designers and subcontractors.

Construction Management:   
The majority of larger projects are completed under a negotiated contract arrangement. MHS Construction Associates, Inc. will control the construction process from concept through completion. The company is available to handle the budget planning and controls, site survey, supervise the space planning, architectural design, contract negotiations and construction. The Construction Management Team is responsible to see that all parties involved perform to expectations. Owners save time and money, assuring themselves of a project brought in on time and within budget, while relieving themselves of time-consuming responsibilities.
